Does Photoshop CC 2015 HiDPI do anything to fix tiny graphical UI icons?

i've read lot - terribly little of substance - whether cc 2015 has implemented real way scale ui icons.  our daughter starting enjoy digital creativity icons blasted tiny her.  has agreed spend more time @ desk if large 1920x1080 display icons little more visible on 1920x1080 laptop.

 

i have cs6 , know there nothing short of making ui font little larger ever have.  cs6 serve both years , there 0 reason spend cc photography suite money every month unless there real ui graphic element scale-up.  not talking doubling on pixels , reducing screen resolution hokey (apologies vt faithful among us) manifest or registry hack, either.  read in post ps has pixel-based icons , other apps vector since they're newer. 

 

is end of story there no hope of ever having larger graphic ui elements until adobe decides it's going profitable rewrite ps using vector-based screen elements?

 

no unpleasant acceptable answer if it's reality.

cs6 not have adobe photoshop 2x ui feature added in newer version of photoshop.  if running windows.  can update windows registry able use external manifest files. add external manifest file photoshop windows display scaling used when use photoshop.  tate photoshop displays scaled windows not photoshop ui , icons. can scale  1x, 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x etc.

 

 

if display ppi resolution in excess of 200ppi photoshop 2x ui works quite if displays have resolution.  photoshop scale photoshop ui elements of diplays.  if display's native resolution less 200 ppi 2x scaling large.  2x ui not believe windows dialogs scaled photoshop dialogs file open , file save system dialogs may hard use on high resolution displays.
