Why is Creative Cloud app so poor?

i'm not 1 write on forums, but, sit here waiting cc app update itself, can update lightroom (which worked until updated cc app yesterday), have 10 (maybe more) minutes kill. process started yesterday when spent hour trying in design work, after upgrading osx sierra. wouldn't start (again, worked few days ago when last tried it) , needed update - should easy right? no. update it, had first update cc app, took hour. had wait new cc app open - 5 minutes - little while tell me apps needed updating. here sit again, waiting lightroom update, deadline looming.
this not request help. know there's things can make computer run faster, few years old! having said that, know way around mac , have used products since late 1990's. i've used lightroom daily since first launched , big fan. not fan of piece of junk make paying customers use in order keep wonderful adobe apps date. not embarrassed? designed this? why did think idea make app gives access 'assets' , 'stock' , 'community' (perhaps i'd see benefit of if worked , try out), if can't manage basics?. want update apps (that pay every month) work. else can google, or can login website.
i hope together, have necessary think-ins , piece of rubbish sorted out - or replaced works well!
