InDesign crashes every time I enter a hyperlink

after recent update, i'm having lots of issues.  annoying each time i'm trying insert new hyperlink, app crashes.  other issues: super slow speed, when comes type tool (which see others having well), , having update links every time open app though images have not moved new location.  argh!

it looks version of indesign cc 2017. please confirm.

now let's @ problems 1 one taking version cc 2017.

 

issue 1: crash on inserting new hyperlink.

is happening files or specific one?

are these files newly created in cc 2017 or created in earlier version , getting worked upon in cc 2017?

issue 2: slow speed, specially type tool.

please navigate preference->advance type -> type contextual controls , disable first preference “show character alternates, fractions, ordinals , ligatures”.

also, share 1 file me showing slowness.

 

issue 3: updating links every time open app.

the links shown out-of-date, if edit those. have edited of images show updating?
