Unable to Update CS5

every time try update creative suite 5 design standard keep getting error messages saying "the following updates unable install" , lists adobe programs. using windows 10. thought might want serial number entered not provide place me enter it.

 

i'd appreciate

at point in past (i don't know exact date) adobe "merged" original update manager cloud update manager, means no longer using original update manager

i have read messages latest (cloud) updater doesn't work old programs... try installing updates manually

updates start here , select product, read see if need install updates in number order, or if updates cumulative individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

 

since cs5 6 years old, , no longer being updated adobe, there may not actual updates available

 

there fact cs5 not compatible win10

an idea may work install and/or run old programs in windows 10... works some, not others

-right click program icon or exe , select compatibility mode in pop option window

-or run administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 assign full windows permissions may help... says encore, required adobe programs (this not same using administrator account)
