Bring back the "LightSweep" Hack???

in premiere pro cc2014 possible cool little hack: 'lightsweep' effect moved after effects plug-ins folder common plug-ins folder , work flawlessly in both after effects , premiere pro!

 

i.e. 'lightsweep' moved "c:\program files\adobe\adobe after effects cc 2015.3\support files\plug-ins\effects\cycorefxhd"

to

c:\program files\adobe\common\plug-ins\7.0\mediacore

(not sure if doing equivalent worked on mac or not)

 

but since version cc2015 , cc2017, little hack no longer works, whether using 'lightsweep' effect ae2014, ae2015 or ae2017.

 

does know of ae-style light sweep effect can purchased premiere pro, or of way hack work in cc2017?
