Adobe Illustrator mouse cursor Flickering.

adobe illustrator mouse cursor flickering. not allowing me anything.

 

i have been facing issue since renewal of plan.

 

i have tried advised steps online on forum.

1. unchecking option "show start workspace when no documents open"

edit => preference => general

after weeks, , mean weeks, of troubleshooting , research, have come temporary solution annoying issue: being mouse cursor flickering , disappearing while using illustrator cc on wacom cintiq , imac.

 

before it, here specs:

 

imac 21.5 inch retina 4k display running el capitan (don't bother os sierra)

wacom cintiq 22hd touch

adobe cc illustrator 2017 (and 2015)

 

issue:

 

while working in illustrator , using wacom cintiq pen, (regardless if on selection tool, brush, etc) cursor flickers , disappears, , slows down performance , make's unable use tools on canvas , in interface area.

 

temporary solution:

 

here work around. open illustrator cc 2017. keep open, restart mac. when log os, you'll notice there arrow under illustrator icon in dock. open illustrator, start-up, , work fine. problem come if close illustrator, , re-open again. make sure keep open, when putting computer sleep. if need close illustrator whatever reason, so, re-start program, leave on, , restart computer. wacom drivers seem irrelevant issue, ended uninstalling wacom drivers cintiq still running fine without (pressure points working, cursor lined mouse, etc)
