Linking from PDF to PDF for mass distribution

hi all  & helping out.

 

i need link 1 pdf pdf (which know how do), problem pdfs need loaded onto 1,000 usb drives distribution. there way map link 1 time work when files moved onto each drive? may have done in acrobat instead of id?

 

currently plan is:

1. move files on usb drive
2. link pdf 1 pdf 2

3. repeat both steps 999 times

 

hoping there's way this:
1. link pdf 1 pdf 2

2. copy files onto usb drive

3. repeat step 2 999 times.

i take when copy pdfs onto drive link stops working because path no longer applies.

 

could yours disk image somehow?

• create disk image name of drive (untitled_1 or something)

• linking within disk image

• format usb drive disk image*

 

*which i'm not sure how you'll though. remember doing similar cds way using toast
