Premiere Pro CC 2017: Standalone audio files (except WAV) are playing back distorted and wrong.

i have adobe premiere pro cc 2017.0.1 on fresh install of macos sierra (i using mid-2012 15" retina macbook pro w/8gb ram). video projects, work whole range of audio files in various formats, particularly mp3 , wav, majority of files in mp3.

 

currently, i'm having frustrating issues standalone non-wav audio that, when imported project, plays in rather distorted , garbled manner (almost if audio has been cut-up and/or scrambled). respective waveform in source monitor wrong when audio file previewed. suspect there bug lurking somewhere in premiere pro cc 2017 within audio conform process.

 

this kind of audio problem has never been issue throughout decade-long premiere pro experience; years, have been using various audio files (mp3) no trouble, issue premiere pro cc 2017.

 

i'd think i'm 1 experiencing these issues right now.

 

other converting mp3s wav (which time-consuming process in earnest), love hear has possible solution. otherwise, adobe has big patching job on hands!

addition: have 21"imac @ school work, , has exact same problem audio (so not personal macbook @ fault).

i never had problems in previous versions

i have tried on multiple pcs , laptops , have bought new computer lives required standards.

i have tried tips find on internet.

nothing works. not 1 experiencing problem. desperate, because cannot finish work clients.

 

calling adobe service centre not bring solution. have been on phone service centre 4 times in past week more hour each time. none of them me , adobe not respond problem anywhere.

 

is there has solution? thank much!!!
