Acrobat gone missing from my printers and devices


i have acrobat dc (full version) , windows 8.1.  last night acrobat disappeared list of printers can no longer create pdf using print command.  have tried repairing acrobat , have reinstalled it.  neither option has worked.  there windows update yesterday , maybe has messed things up.  have ideas of should try next?  many thanks

try steps given below , see if resolves issue:

check if there update available acrobat, launch acrobat>help menu>check updates.

if doesn't work, try steps given @ solution# 3 in following link:

also, confirm if able see "adobe pdf" under devices , printers.

hold down windows key , press r on keyboard.

type control printers , hit enter.

 

and, version of acrobat dc installed on machine?
