13000 Files corrupted due to brainlag: How to batch process to find the working ones?

hey guys,

 

so apparently killed our whole backup folder (300gb) in last august. managed recover many many files diskdrill metadata lost.

opening them in indesign each after , saving them ridiculously time consuming because indesign cannot open of files , crashes , then.

 

how can determine working files @ least correct start , end of file?

i did not find pattern textedit. create small app test this, or maybe easyfind sufficient, drill down few hundred files.

 

is there simpler way?

i think solution might bridge script because not have indesign open/save/close files monitor indesign app status (opened ?) determine if file has been correctly processed or not.
