Ending Magnetic tool selection.

i use magnetic tool highlight horizon can darken sky.  simple enough thought, having watched tutorials , read various entries on web.

i've added contrast aid selection , worked fine until pressed "enter" key having finished selection. find end point on right of image returns start point on left of image "marching ants" althopugh part selection follows contours of horizon

i try again time double click mouse - same result.

so how stop "return base"?

i've searched seems selections assume return started.

any selection made has close up, closing selection off began.
