Acrobat failed to send a DDE command

i using adobe acrobat pro xi.  dragged on 200 emails out of outlook 2016 "combine files" window in order create 1 pdf file. combining them of sudden fatal error message "acrobat failed send dde command."  pops out. have click ok every single email or not combine (extremely time consuming). happens when combine emails pdf. please help.

please open task manager , close adobe acrobat instances.

taskbar> task manager >close adobe instances running @ background.

re-open acrobat , try combing file again , see if works.
