Jpg export and catalogs

i put shots folder into  lightroom, in case folder called africa

this folder contains both raw , jpg image of each shot. (i have camera set both)

once edit raw image, export jpg. image shows export settings.

my issue resulting jpg file shows both in africa album , jpg export subfolder. seems me better if edited jpg shows in jpg export folder , not showing in africa folder?

i realize change export settings , deselect add catalog want see jpg export contents in lightroom, not in africa folder well.

at top have select "same folder original photo" , subfolder jpg export. should going subfolder.

is not happening?

not sure mean africa album (lr doesn't use term album).

if have option set show images in subfolders images in subfolder below folder selected in folders section displayed in grid view.
