'Save As Adobe PDF' crashes Word (using Acrobat XI Pro 11.0.7)

this issue on of our machines using word (2013 , 2016) acrobat xi pro 11.0.7 (which believe date version).  use templates create documents contain macros.  these macros assigned quick access toolbar buttons in ribbon.

in subsequent documents (linked template) on selecting 'file' | 'save adobe pdf' word crashes , prompts disable adobe add-in.  pdf created.  interestingly, acrobat ribbon option 'create pdf' not crash , works correctly.

we have many users wish use acrobat add-in within ms word feel frustrated option 'save adobe pdf' not appear compatible our documents linked template , qat.  sure not issue our templates reproducible creating new template in word 2016 simple macro assigned qat.  if qat deleted (still retaining macros in template) 'save adobe pdf' not crash.

 

by way using registry entry 'disablemacro' not solve issue.

 

please can adobe confirm if can reproduce above , try give insights?  fixable?

the acrobat xi pro version have installed 11.0.7 quite old.

please try installing update acrobat xi 11.0.18.

adobe - acrobat : windows

adobe - acrobat : macintosh

this should fixing problem.

 

let know if doesn't work.
