Panorama - Repair Tool does not work

i have created panorama in lightroom. did cut intentionally outside picture - thinking white corner in sky easy fit repair brush.

my problem nor repair nor copy works. white corner can't painted. workaround export jpeg fix this. (an export dng did not work either.)

do know better solution? don't want use new boundary wrap feature. how adress bug adobe fixed in 1 of next updates?.

see post adobe lead engineer in official adobe feedback forum: lightroom 6: clone brush ineffective on panorama's white edges. | photoshop family customer community . current behavior design, though engineer acknowledged potential "improvement" current design.  please add me-too vote and opinion of why want improvement topic, making little more adobe might implement it.

 

meanwhile, you've got following options, none of satisfactory:

 

1. use boundary warp.

 

2. crop transparent areas.

 

3. merge in photoshop , use content aware fill transparent areas.

 

4. edit lr merge in photoshop or pixel editor , use clone tool manually fill in transparent areas.
