I am trying to create a photo to be framed , with a single car image, and surround the image with words in different styles, tightly packed around the car?

i have image of car , wish surround tightly packed words, cannot rid of white backing on car image. final photo word document. need import word car image without white backing can add many words?

from description sounds want change white backing transparency.

if case, here 1 way:

1. duplicate background layer , turn off visibility.

2. activate magic wand tool, contiguous box checked.

3. click anywhere in white background select it.

4. delete selection. replaces white transparency.

5. save file in png format preserves transparency.

 

 

in word file, insert png. choose "wrap through in background" option picture (or similar named option depending on word version).  in word example added color background demonstrate transparency indeed works, , added text.

if not trying do, please clarify.

 

note reason duplicate layer: if did background select/delete on "background" layer (the default name), deleted portion replaced not transparency current color defined in background color chip @ bottom of toolbar. white default end started!
