Newest Install.exe stops at 50%

hi everyone,

 

i'm trying install latest update flash, , i've gone official link. downloaded it>double clicked install> , tried both allow auto updates, , manual updates, no matter which, installs/downloads 50%, stops saying, "adobe flash player: installation failed. click 'finish' further assistance"

 

i use firefox, , tried in ie download installer, gave me same results. doubht makes difference.

 

something reading said try downloading offline installer, installer told me newer version available, , redirected me beginning downloading update begin @ adobe flash player install versions

 

for time being, flash works; i'm getting box stating current flash vulnerable , have keep clicking allow use or firefox blocks it. i've had problem before in past , learning one, uninstalling flash did not work... resolved next flash update.

 

can out on why may happening? or if there up-to-date offline installer? or wait till updated version comes along?

 

specs if needed...

windows xp: home (don't laugh, classic)

you may try offline installer. follow these steps

 

1)download uninstaller from: uninstall flash player windows

the flash player uninstaller going uninstall copies of flash player system.

 

2) open page: installation problems | flash player | windows 7 , earlier

under heading "still having problems" click on specific link npapi/ppapi/activex plugin.

 

3) ensure browsers closed. run uninstaller , offline installer.

 

if problem persists, please write us.
