Broken update?

last night, dialog box shows had number of application updates installed them. having done that, can not open photoshop, indesign or illustrator files dragging icons finder icon in dock. when so, nothing happens. majorly frustrating time! osx 10.11.6

same on windows 10, time ignored update because lost me £££ in lost jobs in past thought i'd wait before beta tested others, getting fed up, may go , old used version cs5/6 on disks ebay because seem use basics. today lost access templates on creative cloud , had restore own backups old templates. find fonts missing!!!!!!! can't use them anyway. tried pages , instructions useless. tried contact got thru wanted me go thru contact process again creative cloud fixed. in fairness gave me 2 months free still stuck, 2 months £20 me, job have paid me £300, lose out yet again. seems bad timing, rush job when there's update, found out got rush job because other local ad studio cant log creative cloud either... getting disks may business strategy jobs when studios update, you. issue may different happened on update too. can't log creative cloud, keeps asking me log in. log in, says logged out , should log in. there dedicated page not instill me confidence, because known issue adobe ignoring , making test updates @ cost. think may give on adobe again, tried again while , love it, there lots of cheaper copies out there manga drawing packages same pe use @ half cost , absolutely no connection hassles , million times better support because smaller , more focussed. no offence adobe because apps great, @ more cost price tag @ times when needed most. going ruin ad-hoc part of business if can't reliable access , safe updates price asking.  , fed up. going wait , see if tech support contact me resolve issue. should aware of issue. , if not fixed in few days i'm outta here... luck in getting yours fixed.
