Is it ready for Prime Time?

i'm creating program kids can't read. when read captivate prime, thought publishing woes over. i'm not quite ready publish yet, in reading forum, i'm starting have doubts.

 

are problems across board everyone, or larger businesses? i'm one-person producer (at first) handful of kids, while test it. i'm not @ tech, , worried me. there happy campers out there, who've had experience it?

 

i'd appreciate thoughts may have on this. i'm befuddled it!

first, let me say, adobe prime. and, after positive feedback tests small pilot group of learners @ company in q2 of year; recommended adobe prime vp our learning management system (lms).

 

i appreciate cautiousness. cautious , have benefitted more testing because of content wanted make available on prime platform learners.

 

regarding question/comment problems you've read in forum being across board. perspective, not believe problems across board.

 

the issues mentioned unique learning leader @ company, technology, learners , how using prime. example, company first use prime 3rd party content bizlibrary. thus, issues stemming entirely new because neither company has ever had mutual client.

 

the last thing i'll mention lack of blueprint/project template/workflow document adobe takes admin step-by-step build prime site using identified best practices.

 

from perspective, in absence of kind of documentation, admins myself, build prime way think should go may miss key steps in process. me, examples include...

• how put due date on course (so learners see must complete course date)...
• how correctly use learning program , why might create one...
• how create more badges beyond ones come prime...
• how turn on gamification course...

 

as frustrating building site has been , continues @ times, issues mentioned not insurmountable. once, full-fledge, end-to-end user manual admins created of continue stumble bit.

 

something else note fact adobe captivate prime new platform. research , talking different people, platform alpha tested in 2014 , became commercially available in 2015. although adobe has several products author elearning content example captivate 9, company's first entry lms space.

 

with that, can imagine growing pangs technical , development teams facing clients ask more , more.

 

although response longwinded, hope gives solid perspective consideration.
