PDF will load but not open

i have uninstalled , installed acrobat reader dc, have done change while in uninstall or change program in programs & features under control panel. problem pdf (regardless of source) load file (according both gauge & file size) stops - not open file can read. appreciated.

could please try following steps , see if works:

1- able access reader's interface, if yes, check if there update available.

launch reader>click help>select check updates

2- if doesn't work, download , run cleaner tool here: download adobe reader , acrobat cleaner tool - adobe labs

3- restart computer.

4- download , install reader dc here: adobe - adobe acrobat reader dc distribution

 

could please let me know version of reader dc installed on machine?

which operating system have on machine-windows 7/8/10 ?
