importing pictures

hello,

i wonder how import small pictures (~200 x 200 px) ae. show them in 1920 x 1080 composition. in photoshop pictures looks great. in ae blurred.

i checked footage interpretation, tried different formats (tga, png, psd, bmp), set view 100% , full quality , rendered test video hdd. small pictures looks bad , different viewing them photoshop or other apps.

 

when drop small picture onto "composition footage" icon ae creates small comp looking picture, if put comp hd comp quality gone.

when create 1920 x 1080 file in photoshop , insert small picture can import in ae without loosing quality, hope find better way.

is there limitation, ae can handle pictures in composition size?

i have no idea talking about, maybe ignoring sub-pixel positioning, resample images? naturally, images small become pretty apparent. check numerical values , make sure fall onto whole pixel values. otherwise provide screenshots.
