Illustrator 2017 sometimes freezes when opening file

after updating illustrator latest version freezes when opening file... example when have open 1 file , working on works fine when want open file file explorer or lets desktop (not file > open) illustrator becomes unresponsive , freezes ... annoying because happens quite ... last year or two, each update comes such major bug beginning doubt tests before release ... 1 year ago photoshop had major responsiveness problems , after 2 updates manage fix ... not way things software costs ...

hello, have same problem...ai running 1 or more files open , when try open file outside of illy (e.g. file explorer, total commander etc), freezes. seems in background takes 15% of 4-core intel cpu.

 

if same via file menu - open, opens normally.

 

- gpu rendering turned off

- 1 plugin installed (mapublisher)

hello all, have problem, in ios 10.1.1 on ipad, since upgrade, acrobat has hidden side bar on right hand side of screen , open acrobat inadvertently no matter am, on home screen or in app. how can permanently disable this? have not found answer on internet. sorry if inept... thank in advance tips can give me. hi,   that's feature of ios, not acrobat reader.   here steps disable multitasking.   go settings > general > multitasking. turn off "allow multiple apps" option.     hope helps. Photoshop CC 2017 - Ruler Tool - Error 8007...

hello,   just after installed latest version , update (cc 2017), used ruler tool when clicked on [straighten layer], photoshop said "could not transform because initial bounding rectangle empty."   so, clicked on [ok] button , then...photoshop said: "error... error 8007:user cancelled operation line:222 ->     layerref.rotate( angle * 180.0 / math.pi );"   here screenshot: https://s22.postimg.org/rttfh7mwf/photoshop_error8007.png   i don't think kind of error users me, developers. so yes, apparently...there error in script, guys...         p.s : update (cc 2017) is a real disaster on windows 10 professional 64bits because after update, couldn't open, create file or open document anymore! when tried close photoshop, illustrator or program, still running in background weird reason! (task manager) i stuck , couldn't work clients!!! so, needed uninstall , reinstall everything from scratch , including creative cloud! hell goi...
