Change status of two objects simultaneously

hi all,

 

context:

i have 3 buttons on left side on slide , image on right. user able hover on 1 of buttons , change state of both button (rollover) , state of image.

 

failed option 1:

of course tried include states of image within states of buttons. since have 3 buttons, i'd 3 images (normal state) on top of each other. doesn't quality.

 

failed option 2:

i used famous event handler widget. upon hovering button called advanced action changes both status of button image. way have use 1 image. however, when hover on button, both button , image start flickering.

 

question:

is @ possible change states of 2 objects upon hovering on 1 of them?

you using captivate 9, exact number please? latest version 9.0.2.437.

 

the eventhandler widget swf output only, output want? html5 output need use cpextra widget instead.

 

out of box captivate has rollover event (which necessary trigger action) rollover slidelet. button has inbuilt rollover state, no event.

 

you can use js addeventlistener() method achieve goal.
