Symbol sprayer sprayed symbol size

i irregularly use illustrator , have question re sprayed symbol size.

 

is there option sprayed symbol same size brush size?

if change size of brush ( [  ] ), sprayed symbol remains same size. currently, spray first symbol, change brush resizer tool , resize symbol , change sprayer tool spray new size of symbol. feels rather inefficient me. there better way (ie if want spray larger symbol can tap ] until right size , spray, doesn't work)?

 

i have seen there in brush options size field either average or user defined, doesn't seem change much. missing?

fyi, using version 21.0.0 on windows.

assuming important use symbol sprayer, save bet first redefine size of original symbol (definition) according diameter in symbol tool options.

 

not efficient well, of course.

 

can describe workflow bit more elaborately? is, example, rather going randomly spray symbol instances onto scratch area or perhaps looking may called "precise symbol placement"?
