Need to Uninstall Older Lightroom & Photoshop Before Installing CC?

i own macbook pro running el capitan.  have lightroom 4 , 5 plus photoshop cs6 installed.  want upgrade photoshop & lightroom cc.  need uninstall previous versions before downloading cc?  if not, there advantage keeping older versions (especially cs6)?  thank helping.

you not need uninstall previous versions.

 

some people keep older versions in case cc subscription lapses or because there legacy features or interface prefer in previous version.

Adobe InDesign CC 2017 has stopped working

after installing indesign cc 2017 first time, when try launch application error "adobe indesign cc 2017 has stopped working" i have tried following: uninstalling , reinstalling indesign deleting files c:\users\<user>\appdata\roaming\adobe\indesign , c:\users\<user>\appdata\local\adobe\indesign i've uninstalled (i think) fonts had downloaded , installed restarted computer many times signed out of creative cloud , signed in   i able install , run on different computer i'm assuming there sort of conflict or missing component on computer.   computer details: processor intel core i7-4770k ram 16 gb os windows 10 pro ver. 1607 build: 14393.447 video card nvidia geforce gtx 970     this error windows event logs: faulting application name: indesign.exe, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f545c7 faulting module name: appframework.rpln, version: 12.0.0.81, time stamp: 0x57f547eb exception code: 0xc0000005 fault offset: 0x000000000009fa88 faulting process id: 0xcac...
