Preserving Quality, when cropping in Lightroom
so sorry if addressed couldn't find exact answer: why cropping in lightroom before export, decrease file size (and quality) drastically.
i complete al of initial edits clients gallery within lightroom requires cropping prior export.
if don't crop before export still large file. if crop before exporting 22mb file around 8 or 4mb. when go use image in album or canvas, printer alerts me "it's not recommended print due file size".
i've made sure ducks in row on export screen far setting @ largest...
any advice on how crop without losing image?
i've tested bridge, , photoshop quality decrease after cropping , both maintain size , quality.
help!
it's becoming real issue create finished products clients.

cropping not decrease quality.
if have image of size, , crop it, of course smaller.
the megabytes meaningless, not indicate quality of image. stop looking @ megabytes. instead @ pixels in image, tell if have enough pixels given purpose.
