Lightroom Mobile - Issues with stopping or pausing sync

i have couple of related issues.

 

when pause syncing lightroom mobile doesn't stop, though says has.  if check in task manager lightroom still uploading.  way sort pause sync, restart lightroom.

 

additionally, , more problematic.  if select collection sync change mind seems continue sync items anyway before 'un-syncing'.  accidently selected folder 650 images sync though unchecked again continued sync 650 items!  live in rural area less 1mb upload speed - took ages , internet unusable during time!  tried deleting collection online, didn't either.

 

if knows way round please let me know!

you may try , reset lightroom preferences default , check if helps.

preference file , other file locations | lightroom cc , 6
