CC2015 InDesign crashes when placing an image

i encountering issue when place jpg images in indesign file.

 

as drop image on document, id crashes asks re-open. if open image in photoshop first , save try again, works fine.

 

obviously, (and other work colleagues) cannot use workaround go through hundreds (if not thousands) of images , percentage crash id. mean having identify each image opening , saving. adding far time day!
