How to be a film title designer?

hi everyone, don't know question asked @ here proper or not, if not, sorry this.

 

i person want film title designer.

now planning apply mfa in usa, have trouble when choosing major.

i considering studying motion graphics design, visual effect or motion pictures&television.

 

what major should choose?

i have read guideline on school's website, still don't know choice should choose since every major have own training, , of them teach part of skills use in designing film titles.

 

could give me advice? lots.

what line of education have potential later work? lot of people working on such stuff never studied @ all. none of matters in way, actual skills do.
