How do I automatically populate an EXP date from a date field that is manually entered in PDF form?

i using adobe acrobat make gift certicates. want able manually enter issue date , have expiration populate year out issue date.

can me action script this? have tried various scripts , none seem work correctly.

i have been entering script in properties of expiration date action. if should doing different please advise. novice forms , action scripts.

acrobat forms use "javascript", action script offered adobe in other products not work acrobat forms.
