Moving folders in LR doesn't work

hi,

i'm moving lr folders nas external hard disk. going until moment pointed folders wrong destination; did cancel transaction. repeat moving folders right destination isn't working because "the folders exist in place of destination". error occur don't see maps there; still on original nas. can me this?

for type of operation suggest don't use lr. suggest use file manager os , relink folders in lr @ there new locations.

 

in experience moving file , folders in lr can cause unexpected consequences.
