Maximum recommended photos in one Lightroom catalog?

hello everybody!

 

i have been using lightroom 6 on year , other day i

subscribed photography plan , i'm plain loving it! j i'm an

adobe fan way around!

 

i wondering if knows maximum number of recommended

photos have in 1 lightroom catalog. have on 14,000 photos

in lightroom catalog , i've noticed lightroom acts a

little sluggish when when change modules or make edits raw files.

could possibly because have many pictures in 1 catalog?

please make sure update lightroom latest version first(6.7).

also, try disabling gpu preferences>performance tab.

i suggest check following link improve lightroom performance: optimize performance
